Section 44:05:04:15.01 - Infection control equipment

Each ground ambulance must be equipped with the following infection control equipment:

(1) Full peripheral glasses or goggles and face shield;

(2) A high-efficiency particulate air mask;

(3) Non-sterile, latex-free examination gloves in multiple sizes;

(4) Fluid-resistant jumpsuits or gowns;

(5) Commercial antimicrobial hand wash;

(6) Disinfectant for cleaning surfaces and equipment;

(7) Sharps container;

(8) Disposable trash bags; and

(9) Bio-hazard bags.
