Section 44:05:04:14 - Examination equipment and reference materialsEach ground ambulance must be equipped with the following medical examination equipment and reference materials:
(1) A sphygmomanometer with adult, child, and infant cuffs;(2) An adult stethoscope;(3) A pediatric stethoscope;(4) Disposable hypoallergenic examination gloves;(6) Glasgow coma scale reference;(7) Pediatric trauma score reference;(8) A pediatric vital signs card;(9) A thermometer with low temperature capability;(10) State-defined trauma team activation criteria;(11) A length-based resuscitation tape or reference material that provides appropriate guidance for pediatric drug dosing and equipment sizing based on length or age; and(12) Pediatric and adult patient care guidelines.S.D.
