Section 44:05:04:12 - Immobilization devicesEach ground ambulance must be equipped with the following immobilization devices:
(1) One upper extremity immobilization device and one lower extremity immobilization device that support the joint above and below the fracture site sized appropriately for adult and pediatric patients;(2) Two adult-size radiolucent spine boards with at least three appropriate restraint straps;(3) Two rigid cervical collars for adult and pediatric patients or adjustable cervical collars for adult and pediatric patients;(4) One head immobilization device using firm padding or a commercial head immobilization device;(5) One pediatric immobilization device with appropriate padding; and(6) One short immobilization device.S.D.
