Section 41:06:09:01 - Grouse hunting season established

The grouse hunting season is open statewide, from sunrise to sunset, each day from the third Saturday of September through January thirty-first. For purposes of this chapter, the term "grouse" means sharptail grouse, ruffed grouse, and prairie chicken.

Nonresident licenses and permits for hunting of small game and migratory birds -- Privileges -- Violation as misdemeanor, SDCL 41-6-17.
