Section 4:01:08:02 - Exchange agreements in public interest

In making land exchanges or assembled land exchanges under this chapter, the commissioner may consider whether the public interest is served through the consolidation of school and public lands and nonstate land patterns, or needed for urban or industrial expansion, or is consistent with land management planning objectives.
