Section 4:01:03:04 - Size of lease units

The commissioner shall issue leases primarily for units of approximately 640 acres. The commissioner may issue a lease for a lesser area only if there are no other lands administered by the department that are contiguous to or cornering the lesser area. Each fractional acre is considered to be one acre.
