Before replacement warrants are issued by the auditor for warrants lost or destroyed, a stop payment shall be requested by the employee or agency. A replacement payroll warrant may be issued no sooner than 10 days after the date of original issuance and may be issued only after the affidavit for duplicate has been filed with the state auditor.
