Section 3:01:01:02 - Federal regulations to be followed

In making the determination of whether a person is an employee of the state for the purpose of determining whether old age and survivors insurance contributions shall be made, the director shall be in compliance with the provisions of 42 U.S.C. 416 (j) and 418, both as amended through October 30, 1972; by the Federal-State Social Security Agreement dated July 24, 1951; and by 20 C.F.R. 404.1004.

The Federal-State Social Security Agreement consists of four pages and an appendix of sixty-four pages. There are two hundred and ninety-one amendments thereto.
