Section 24:53:07:22 - K-12 music education program

The required courses and experiences of a K-12 music education program shall meet the most recent edition of the the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) standards.

The program shall require candidates to demonstrate the content, pedagogical, and professional knowledge and skills identified in the NASM standards and to demonstrate competency on the multiple assessment measures of chapters 24:53:04, 24:53:05, and 24:53:06.
