Section 24:30:05:05 - Grant awards committee

A grant awards committee appointed by the state librarian shall evaluate grant proposals and recommend grant amounts. The committee shall be composed of the following:

(1) The state librarian or a designee;

(2) The State Library institutional coordinator;

(3) An institutional librarian;

(4) A representative of public libraries representing a community in which a state institution is located; and

(5) A representative from any two of the state departments under which state institutions are placed. The state librarian shall rotate representation among the departments.

The state librarian shall submit recommendations from the grant awards committee to the State Library Board for approval.
