Section 24:28:20:07 - Endorsements requiring pedagogy test, and content test or major

For an individual who has completed an elementary preparation program, each of the endorsements listed in this section requires passage of the state-designated content test or a major in content. The endorsements are:

(1) Secondary intermediate English language arts;

(2) Secondary drama and theater;

(3) Secondary mass communications;

(4) Secondary intermediate math;

(5) Secondary advanced mathematics;

(6) Secondary intermediate science;

(7) Secondary advanced biology;

(8) Secondary chemistry;

(9) Secondary physics;

(10) Secondary advanced physical science;

(11) Secondary advanced earth science;

(12) Secondary intermediate social science;

(13) Secondary advanced history;

(14) Secondary advanced political science;

(15) Secondary advanced geography;

(16) Secondary economics;

(17) Secondary sociology;

(18) Secondary psychology;

(19) Secondary art education;

(20) Secondary health education;

(21) Secondary physical education; and

(22) Secondary music education.

Effective July 1, 2019, passage of the state-designated pedagogy test is also required.
