Section 24:28:17:21 - Renewal requirements for the career and technical education (CTE) alternative teaching certificate

The CTE alternative teaching certificate is valid for one year and may be renewed two times. An applicant for a renewed CTE alternative certificate shall submit:

(1) Documented evidence of progress toward meeting the requirements of § 24:28:12:11; and

(2) A recommendation for renewal from the school district or department-accredited school where the applicant is employed based on documented performance and progress.
