The preparation type for a certificate is:

(1) Early childhood;

(2) Elementary;

(3) Secondary;

(4) Career and technical education (CTE);

(5) K-12;

(6) Early childhood special education;

(7) K-12 special education;

(8) Superintendent;

(9) Principal;

(10) Education specialist;

(11) Alternative preparation; and

(12) Educator permit.
