Section 24:14:05:01 - Data collection

The department shall compile data on the Part C program for infants and toddlers with disabilities necessary to fulfill federal reporting requirements and other state reporting purposes. The data collection system includes a process for collecting data from various agencies and service providers in South Dakota and provides for the reporting of data required under 20 U.S.C. § § 1418 and 1435(a)(14) of the IDEA and other information that the federal agency may require. The department shall report the information required to the United States Department of Education at the time and in the manner specified by the United States Department of Education.
