A student may be identified as having an emotional behavioral disability if the following requirements are met by history or current:
Symptoms cause clinically significant impairment in social, emotional, behavioral, occupational, or other areas; and
A student may not be identified as having an emotional behavioral disability. if common disciplinary problem behaviors, such as truancy, smoking, or breaking LEA policy, are the sole criteria for determining the existence of an emotional behavioral disability.
