Section 20:79:01:01 - Definitions

Words and phrases defined in SDCL chapter 36-37-1 have the same meaning when used in this article. Terms used in this article mean:

(1) "American Speech-Language-Hearing Association," (ASHA) the professional, scientific, and credentialing association for members and affiliates who are audiologists, speech-language pathologists, speech, language, and hearing scientists, audiology and speech-language pathology support personnel, and students;

(2) "Limited license," the license issued to a speech-language pathologist serving a birth-to-twenty-one population in an educational setting and addressing disorders of communications.
