Section 20:61:02:03 - Conditions for issuance of a critical care endorsement

(1) The course of study or program shall be either an in-person or blended course. A blended course is defined as a combination of online and in-person instructor facilitated lectures. A minimum of 22 hours of in person instruction is required. Courses held entirely online or by other distance learning will not satisfy this requirement.

(2) There must be a written examination component to prove competency at the conclusion of the course of study program.

(3) The paramedic shall provide proof of successful completion of a board approved course of study program in critical care or flight paramedics.
