Section 20:51:15:03 - Central area to be licensed as a pharmacy

The central area in a hospital, nursing facility, and related facilities, where drugs are procured, stored, and issued, and where pharmaceutical services are performed, must be licensed as a pharmacy. The pharmacy must meet all requirements of South Dakota and federal law and the rules of the board and must have a registered pharmacist in charge of the pharmacy.
