Each bettor purchasing big perfecta tickets shall designate his two selections as the first two horses to finish in that order in the first race of the two consecutive races. After the official declaration of the first two horses to finish in the first race of the big perfecta and before the running of the second big perfecta race, each bettor holding a ticket combining the first two horses in the exact order of finish shall exchange the winning ticket for a big perfecta exchange ticket at the big perfecta windows. At that time he shall select the two horses to finish in the second race of the big perfecta in the exact order as officially posted. No money is required of the holder of the ticket to make the exchange.
