Section 20:04:26:17 - Delivery of the claimed horse and transfer of title

A claimed horse may not be delivered by the original owner to the successful claimant until authorization is given by the stewards. Each claimed horse must run in the interest and for the account of the owner who entered it in the race, but the successful claimant becomes the owner of the claimed horse, whatever its condition, from the time the horse enters the track for the post parade.
