Section 20:04:22:43 - Jockey to ride to win

All jockeys shall give their best efforts in races in which they ride. No person may instruct or advise a jockey to ride or handle his mount otherwise than for the purpose of winning. Persons giving or following such instructions or advice are subject to disciplinary action by the stewards and commission.
