Section 20:04:22:38 - Engagements of an apprentice

Any engagement of an apprentice jockey to ride other than those for the jockey's contract employer shall be made by the jockey, the jockey's agent, or the jockey's contract employer. The contract employer may act as the jockey's agent without a license as an agent.
