Section 20:04:18:12 - Presence of veterinarian required - Qualifications

The state veterinarian is considered an official of the commission at each race meet. He must be a graduate veterinary surgeon in good standing, who is licensed to practice in the state of South Dakota. The state veterinarian must apply for and receive a license from the commission.
