Milkrooms must be equipped with a two-compartment vat for washing and rinsing, a utensil rack, and milk cooling facilities. The milkroom must have water under pressure to a thermostatically controlled hot water storage tank capable of maintaining a sufficient quantity of water at the temperatures needed for the cleaning of milk handling equipment.
