Section 10:11:03:01 - Referring entity procedure for debt referral

Before referring any debt to the center for collection, the referring entity shall:

(1) Make a determination that debt to be referred to the center is bad debt;

(2) Provide final notification to the debtor;

(3) Ensure that 14 days have elapsed since final notification was sent to the debtor.
