Section 52-605 - Approval for Out-of-State ExpensesA. If out of state expenses are incurred by a public official or public employee for speaking before a public or private group prior written approval for the payment or reimbursement must be obtained from the appropriate approving official prior to incurring the expense or receiving reimbursement.B. A copy of the written approval for out of state expenses must be attached to the Statement of Economic Interests.C. If the official or employee does not file a Statement of Economic Interests, the approval must be maintained by the approving official.D. Failure to report as provided herein may result in the assessment of a late filing penalty.Added by State Register Volume 21, Issue No. 6, Part 2, eff June 27, 1997.
