Section 52-201 - Purpose and ScopeA. The purpose of these regulations is to set forth the procedures under which the State Ethics Commission administers the Ethics, Government Accountability, and Campaign Reform Act of 1991 (hereinafter the Act). These regulations shall be liberally construed to accomplish the intent and purpose of the Act and secure the just, speedy, and efficient determination of any action brought before the Commission.B. These regulations repeal and replace Chapter 52 of the South Carolina Code of Regulations, 1976.Added by State Register Volume 21, Issue No. 6, Part 2, eff June 27, 1997.
