Section 20-3.9 - Other Substances1. Substances such as Monsel's solution and other iron or bismouth compounds, collodion, silver nitrate, ammonia or smelling salts are prohibited. The use of such modalities will result in disqualification, suspension or fine of the boxer, manager and/or trainer. The Commission or the ringside physician may specify which substances may be used.2. The use of excessive lubricant on the body, arms or face of a boxer is prohibited.3. Only water shall be administered by seconds to a boxer between rounds.
