Section 810-RICR-00-00-1.1 - Authority and PurposeA. These regulations are promulgated pursuant to R.I. Gen. Laws § 39-1-11.B. It is the purpose of these rules to aid anyone who wishes to appear before the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission. It is the Commission's intention to be accessible and to make these Rules of Practice and Procedure clear and understandable for counsel and the general public.C. Issues not addressed in these rules or for which a party seeks clarity are to be considered in light of R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-35-1et seq.
