Section 510-RICR-00-00-1.20 - Chapter 29

Delete IBC section 2901. Scope and substitute the following:

2901.1 Scope.

The provisions of this Chapter and SBC-3-2021, the Rhode Island Plumbing Code shall govern the erection, installation, repairs, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance or plumbing equipment and systems.

P2902.2 Add the following new exception #4

4. Separate facilities shall not be required in existing structures or tenant spaces located within existing building with a total occupant load of fewer than fifty (50).
