Section 290-RICR-20-00-3.1 - Authority and PurposeA. These Rules and Regulations are promulgated pursuant to R.I. Gen. Laws § 31-41.2-3, as amended, which authorizes the installation and operation of automated traffic violation monitoring systems within the State of Rhode Island, and in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act, R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-35-1 et seq.B. The purpose of these Rules and Regulations is to establish a procedure for the approval and operation of automated traffic violation monitoring systems installed within the State of Rhode Island, pursuant to R.I.
