Section 260-RICR-30-15-5.5 - Criteria for Apprenticeable OccupationsA. An apprenticeable occupation is one which:1. Is customarily learned in a practical way through a structured systematic program of on-the-job supervised learning;2. Is clearly identified and commonly recognized throughout an industry;3. Involves the progressive attainment of manual, mechanical, or technical skills and knowledge which, in accordance with the industry standard for the occupation;4. Requires the completion of at least 2,000 hours of on-the-job learning; and5. Requires related instruction to supplement the on-the-job learning.260 R.I. Code R. 260-RICR-30-15-5.5
