Section 230-RICR-30-30-6.13 - EnforcementA. Complaints and Investigations. All complaints regarding licensees or other persons for violations of this Regulation or the Act may be investigated by the Department. The Department may upon its own initiative, with or without a complaint, investigate violations of this Part or the Act.B. Hearings. The notice for and conduct of any hearing held pursuant to this Part or the Act shall be governed by the applicable provision of the Act, the Department's Rules of Procedure for Administrative Hearings, Part 10-00-2 of this Title, and the Administrative Procedures Act, R.I. Gen. Laws Chapter 42-35.C. Penalties. Pursuant to the authority granted the Division in R.I. Gen. Laws § 41-5.2-28, the Division may revoke or suspend a license for any violation of this Part, the Act, any other law of the state, or when the licensee has, in the judgment of the division, been guilty of any act or offense detrimental to the public interest.230 R.I.
