The purpose of this Part is to set forth rules and procedural requirements that the Superintendent deems necessary to carry out the provisions of the Credit for Reinsurance Act, (the "Act"), R.I. Gen. Laws § 27-1.1-1et seq. The actions and information required by this Part are declared to be necessary and appropriate in the public interest and for the protection of the ceding insurers in this State.
