Section 230-RICR-20-25-13.4 - DefinitionsA. As used in this Part: 1. "Insurance Commissioner" or "Commissioner" means the Director of the Department of Business Regulation or his or her designee.2. "Insurance producer" means a person required to be licensed under the laws of this State to sell, solicit or negotiate insurance, including annuities. 3. "Life insurance or annuity product" means any policy, plan, certificate, including a fraternal benefit certificate, contract, agreement, statement of coverage, rider or endorsement which provides for life insurance or annuity benefits.230 R.I.
