Section 220-RICR-50-05-1.3 - DefinitionsA. "APRA" means the Rhode Island Access to Public Records Act, R.I. Gen. Laws § 38-2-1 et. seq.B. "Department" means the Rhode Island Department of Administration.C. "Readily Available" means records which are published in a formal manner for the public by the Department or as required by law.D. "Records" means all documents, papers, letters, maps, books, tapes, photographs, films, sound recordings, magnetic or other tapes, electronic data processing records, computer stored data (including electronic mail messages, except specifically for any electronic mail messages of or to elected officials with or relating to those they represent and correspondence of or to elected officials in their official capacities) or other material regardless of physical form or characteristics made or received pursuant to law or ordinance or in connection with the transaction of official business by any agency.E. "Request" means a submission asking for specific Records to be provided in accordance with the provisions and process stated herein.F.
