Section 216-RICR-60-10-1.14 - Disposition of Deceased BodiesA. The disposition of deceased bodies shall follow the provisions of R.I. Gen. Laws § 23-4-10. The public notices described in this section shall be no less than fourteen (14) days.B. In addition, any funeral director receiving permission to remove a decedent shall provide a written communication from the next of kin to OSME prior to removal of said decedent.C. If a person dies suddenly on a public highway or elsewhere in the public view and the death appears to be from natural causes or the result of injuries received from a highway accident, the procedure shall follow those provisions described in R.I. Gen. Laws § 23-4-9.216 R.I. Code R. 216-RICR-60-10-1.14
