Section 216-RICR-40-05-17.4 - Qualifications for Licensure17.4.1Chiropractic MedicineA. In addition to the qualifications for licensure to practice chiropractic medicine in this state as defined in R.I. Gen. Laws § 5-30-6, an applicant shall present evidence that he/she: 1. Has three (3) letters from three (3) licensed chiropractic physicians attesting to the applicant's moral character, including one (1) letter from a faculty member at a college of chiropractic medicine if the applicant has graduated within five (5) years of application;2. Has successfully graduated from a school or college of chiropractic medicine accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education and approved by the Division;3. Has successfully passed: a. Parts I and II examinations of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners; andb. The Written Clinical Competency Examination (WCCE) or Part III of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners; andc. Part IV of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.17.4.2PhysiotherapyA. In addition to the qualifications for licensure to practice physiotherapy in this state as defined in R.I. Gen. Laws § 5-30-8 an applicant must: 1. Hold a certificate of completion of a physiotherapy program from a college or school of chiropractic medicine accredited by the Council of Chiropractic Education and;2. Have successfully passed the examination of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners section in physiotherapy.216 R.I. Code R. 216-RICR-40-05-17.4
