Section 180-RICR-10-00-3.7 - Selection of Funeral DirectorA. Upon admission, residents are required to indicate the selection of a Funeral Director. This selection may be changed by the resident at any time by notifying Social Work Service.B. The selection shall be submitted for review by the resident's specified next-of kin or guardian. The Home does not assume the financial responsibility of the resident's burial, but can, when necessary, make appropriate arrangements for a resident's burial.C. An amount of up to $10,000 may be released for funeral expenses for burial of a resident possessing such assets.180 R.I. Code R. 180-RICR-10-00-3.7
