Laws Chapter 6-11.1, the Attorney General is empowered to promulgate regulations to administer the licensing program for previous metals dealers.B. Purpose 1. The purpose of these rules and regulations is to promote consumer protection for the citizens of Rhode Island by regulating trade in precious metals. Dealers will be required to follow prescribed procedures for identification of sellers and goods sold.
