Section 203.101 - Eligibility for Farrier's license(a) The issuance of a Farrier's license shall be dependent upon the applicant satisfying the requirements set forth below. An applicant shall: (1) Be at least 18 years of age; and(2) Be qualified, by reason of experience, background and knowledge of horseshoeing, as determined by the Commission or its appointed testing organization,(b) As evidence of qualifications and capabilities, applicants not previously licensed in any jurisdiction shall be required to pass one or more of the following: (1) A written examination;(2) An interview or oral examination; or(3) A demonstration of practical skills in horseshoeing.(c) The Farriers' license shall be issued for a term of 3 years.(d) If a Farrier's license is terminated by action of the Commission or by failure to renew the license for a period of 7 years, the applicant must comply with the requirements of subsection (b).
