Section 63.53 - Trip permits(a)General. Seventy-two hour trip permits may be obtained from the Bureau or authorized issuing agents in accordance with Chapter 65 (relating to permit agents) for the occasional or emergency operation into or through this Commonwealth of vehicles registered in member jurisdictions but not proportionally registered in this Commonwealth.(b)Carrying of permits. Every trip permit shall be carried in the cab of the vehicle for which the permit is issued.The provisions of this §63.53 adopted April 29, 1983, effective 4/30/1983, 13 Pa.B. 1440; readopted May 6, 1988, effective immediately and applies retroactively to April 30, 1988, 18 Pa.B. 2130.
