Section 3680.15 - Requirements relating to interstate compacts(a) The legal entity shall ensure that agency policies and procedures comply with the requirements of the Interstate Compact on Juveniles in section 731 of the Public Welfare Code (62 P. S. § 731) and the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children in section 761 of the Public Welfare Code (62 P. S. § 761). These compacts outline procedures that ensure the proper care and supervision of children who cross state boundaries.(b) Under the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, the legal entity shall ensure that the agency applies for and receives approval from the receiving state prior to sending a child to a placement in another state. The approval process is initiated through the Interstate Office of the Department.(c) If the agency performs adoptive home studies and reviews of proposed placements for other states participating in the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, the legal entity shall ensure that the agency does so in conformance with the requirements of the Compact.The provisions of this §3680.15 amended January 23, 1987, effective 1/24/1987, 17 Pa.B. 392.The provisions of this §3680.15 amended under Articles II, VII, IX and X of the Public Welfare Code (62 P.
