Section 3290.73 - First-aid kit(a) A facility must have a first-aid kit.(b) A first-aid kit shall be kept in a place inaccessible to children.(c) A first-aid kit must contain the following: soap, an assortment of adhesive bandages, sterile gauze pads, tweezers, tape, scissors and disposable, nonporous gloves.(d) One first-aid kit must accompany children and facility person on excursions from the facility. The first aid kit taken on an excursion must contain a bottle of water in addition to the items specified in subsection (c).The provisions of this §3290.73 amended May 23, 2008, effective 9/22/2008, 38 Pa.B. 2437.The provisions of this §3290.73 amended under Articles IX and X of the Human Services Code (62 P.S. §§ 901-922 and 1001-1088).
