Section 2050.61 - EligibilityA state of disaster exists as of the date on which the Governor declares a specific geographic area to be a disaster area. Those eligible for adult services declared by the Secretary to be essential in dealing with the disaster are:
(1) Persons who normally reside within the declared disaster area and who are affected by the disaster. These persons are eligible to receive service for a period which may not exceed 2 months from the date the disaster was declared.(2) Other persons physically in a disaster area at the time of the disaster and who are affected by the disaster. These persons are eligible to receive service only for so long as is necessary to relocate them to their normal place of residence and in no case for longer than 30 days from the date that the disaster was declared.
