Section 101.84 - Jurisdiction of appeal(a) The Board may hear and dispose of an appeal without referring it to a referee. However, unless the Board assumes original jurisdiction, the appeal shall be assigned promptly to a referee for hearing.(b) The Board may also remove or transfer an appeal pending before a referee at any time. When an appeal pending before a referee is transferred by the Board to another referee a hearing shall be held before the referee by whom the appeal is to be decided.The provisions of this §101.84 adopted August 26, 1970, effective August 27, 1 Pa.B. 435.
