Section 39.159 - Grounding noncurrent-carrying metal parts(a) Exposed noncurrent-carrying metal parts of switch and fuse cases, levers, and other similar parts with live parts liable to leak, creating a hazard, shall be permanently grounded according to the provisions of § 39.103 (relating to protective grounding).(b) Minor parts, such as ferrules of knife switches, which are not liable to become alive, are excluded from compliance with subsection (a).
