(a) Water used for drinking, food preparation, cleaning or personal hygiene purposes at public bathing places shall be provided from a supply approved by the Department. The approval shall be based upon satisfactory compliance with the construction standards for water supplies approved by the Department and the following: (1) The water supply shall be adequate in quantity and shall meet the bacteriological and chemical water standards of the Department.(2) An unapproved water supply shall be made inaccessible to the public in a manner deemed satisfactory to the Department.(b) Drinking water facilities shall be provided at public bathing places.The provisions of this §18.56 adopted September 18, 1971, effective 9/18/1971, 1 Pa.B. 1921; amended November 29, 1974, effective 12/16/1974, 4 Pa.B. 2453.
