Section 77.515 - Nutrients and soil amendments(a) Nutrients and soil amendments in the amounts determined by soil tests shall be applied to the surface soil layer so that it supports the approved postmining land use and meets the revegetation requirements of §§ 77.611-77.618 (relating to revegetation).(b) Soil tests shall be performed using standard methods approved by the Department. Results of a soil test shall be submitted to the Department.(c) Agricultural or granular limestone used for neutralizing soil acidity shall be of sufficient fineness so that a minimum of 95% will pass through a 20 mesh sieve and shall contain sufficient calcium and magnesium to be equivalent to at least 89% calcium carbonate.
