Section 11.203 - State park watersThe Department has jurisdiction over the following bodies of water:
(1)General.(i) Lakes, impoundments and other bodies of water that are wholly owned by the Department or completely surrounded by State park land.(ii) Creeks, streams and nonnavigable rivers that run through or along State parks.(iii) Water areas within a 100-foot safety zone around launching, swimming, docking, mooring and marina facilities at State parks.(2)Presque Isle State Park. Misery Bay, Marina Lake, Thompson Bay, Horseshoe Pond, Duck Pond, lagoons and all the waters in Lake Erie and Presque Isle Bay within 500 feet of the low-water mark of the peninsula of Presque Isle, under section 9 of the act of May 27, 1921 (P. L. 1180, No. 436) (32 P. S. § 923), regarding dedication of lands, and section 5 of the act of May 27, 1921 (P. L. 1180, No. 436) (55 P. S. § 361), regarding entry upon dedicated lands; rules and regulations.(3)Pymatuning State Park. Pymatuning Lake, under section 3 of the act of May 2, 1929 (P. L. 1530, No. 456) (32 P. S. § 763), regarding construction of dam; use of reservoir and surrounding lands for recreation and other purposes; and rules and regulations. This section cited in 17 Pa.
